Dear R_O_M_Y_X... every round is recorded from the beginning, to the end.
If you play the round, the recording will go in your
Battlerecorder Library (it's a menu inside of the game)...
Do you know what battlerecorder demos are? You can replay the entirety of the round, directly from your computer where you play BF2; you can pause, you can go fast-forward, you can follow a player and if they are speed-hacking, you will see it (every movement is recorded). Did you know all of this, or not?
Anyway, you say that cheaters have increased, and then you talk about our administration team (and I didn't quite understand if you are complimenting us for our great admin job, or if you are calling us incompetent because of the uptick -
up to your standards... - in cheater numbers).
Well look, let me give you a couple of examples of why the LS admin team excels at catching cheaters (so you do not have to worry about hackusating,
without proof, our players and even worse,
our admins. P.S. I repeat again: the match where you say Dangermouse has speed-hacked,
is fully stored and recorded in our system; you said you can record videos, right? Very well then, download the file, re-play it, lock your player camera to Dangermouse10, and record the entirety of the round - or just the piece where he is speed-hacking; publish it to YouTube, and then post the link here for all of us to see! But... if you do not do that, then you have to take responsibility for being called a "liar". Again, it's very easy logic: you claim "cheat"? Prove it, we explained how to prove it; no proof? Then
YOU are the one that must apologize, not Dangermouse).
Okay so the
first clue about our admin job being correct and remarkable, is that
we have actually
caught cheaters that are
part of other Clans admin teams... just like you are trying to do now... except that we have video proof (which is what I suggest you to ALWAYS bring along with you, if you believe that everyone around you must be cheating: I say this every time, deliver proof, we
will watch it; if the player is indeed cheating, they'll be banned, even if Admin).

So we have forwarded all of the proof to this Clan leader, and it wasn't only us hackusating the player, it was other Clans too, so there was no direct affiliation or bias from us: different admins, from different Communities, were recording video evidence of this cheater (who was banned everywhere, but not in this Clan that took him in; it was probably the last somewhat populated air-map server where he could last play, without being flagged as a cheater).
Do you know what the Clan leader did? Ignore both of our evidence and the one of the other clans, and so he has been playing along with a cheater and on top of that he had made him admin too, for the last 5-6 months or so... now, more proof has emerged, and the topic was brought up again. Guess who has videotaped the new evidence? Lost-Soldiers admins.... so now this Clan leader has finally banned that cheating admin, and justice is done. |
The
second clue is more about you, instead, and your abilities or rather... your knowledge, of the situation around you, of the servers and who owns them... who is cheating... who is not... well, I will spill the beans, because I see you playing from time to time on the server ALTE GARDE and right now I am seeing you again, right in this moment that I write, I see you playing there; so I thought about this topic and your constant accusations.
First of all, ALTE GARDE is a cheating server, the german owner (who is playing with you on the server right now) is cheating
have you hackusated him? Have you suspected him? Even their clan members are ashamed of him... if you manage to join his Discord and talk about cheats, you will get banned
unfortunately he owns the server, and there is nothing that can be done, neither by his own Clan Members at Alte, or by BF2Hub Staff. And yet, you are playing there, as if it's a normal server. Look, here you are:

Players 2. 4. on your team, and player 1. on the enemy team, are either the same person playing from multiple computers, or affiliated with this german cheater (juergenmedic is the name, you can see one of the fake players is named after him, juergen53; and you can also see how they created a fake account with the name of one of our senior members, Princess-Unicorn). Look at the pings of the mentioned players, all the same... eft is a confirmed cheater, there is even video of him IN ALTE A1 aimbotting mindlessly with the jeep machine gun...
So, now you know, that when you are playing there, you are playing in cheater-land... and then, you have the guts to complain about our servers??
R_O_M_Y_X, please, open your eyes... we are not the enemies, we try to keep the servers clean, we try to enforce our rules as best as we can. We take and process reports,
we ban cheaters with evidence... what more do you want us to do? Ban every single person that kills you? BE BETTER! Please!! Relax, and play the game.
If you spot somebody that you are 100% sure, that they are cheating,
video-tape them!!! Threatening about getting them banned and ordering/commanding them to turn off their hacks (IF they have them to begin with) is not going to accomplish anything. On the contrary! Let's
pretend for a second, that Dangermouse had speed-hack, ok? Let's assume it was true (it is not). What happens if you call him out for it, with no evidence??

He is made aware, that he has been caught, so he will either disconnect, or most likely he will turn off the hack. And what do we have now? A cheater that is paying attention, because admins will be alert when he is playing; this is not good. What you must do, is shut your mouth (stay silent in the game, I know it's hard, but it's for the better; I explain why now), video-tape the player (you can stay dead and spectate them, unfortunately we do not have freecamera - again, as that can also be used to basically get information from the other side of the map, while you are dead - but you can use player-camera to follow a team-mate around... so if the cheater is in enemy team, you must manage to switch to their side, in order to spectate him), and open a new topic here, in the Report section.
The cheater will hardly notice / check these forums, so your report is safe; as opposed to you losing your mind in the game, and sending public hackusations in the game chat: that is not helping, it makes us lose time and it gives intel to this player, that he is suspected for cheating. Stay silent, play it smart instead! IF he is cheating, it will appear in your video or at a later time in the battlerecorder demos that - as I said in the beginning - are recording the games 24/7 (and are there waiting for you to download them and re-play them, from any angle that you wish to re-watch the match from). We even have tutorials to catch cheaters when reviewing battlerecorder demos. |
So, R_O_M_Y_X, have you understood all that I had to say? To summarize: 1. be a better player, stop accusating enemy players that are simply better than you 2. if you have the STRONG feeling, that a person is cheating (who knows, maybe you are right!) record them! This helps us tremendously, instead of just pointing us to the demo file of the match. 3. Be aware when you play in ALTE GARDE, that you are often times surrounded by cheaters, that are part of the admin team....
Similarly in other Clans, we know that there are some people that either are cheating, or using a lot of "tweaks" to modify their game. We are against those kind of modifications, and also IF you have proof that any of our new admins are cheating, submit it to us: we do not treat Administrators differently. It has actually already happened once, in the past, we have accepted a young kid from Greece, who was average in the game but made a lot of videos, streams, and promotion of the servers... it was a good kid, right? Seemed mature! After 3 months, what happens? We catch him cheating... fuuuuck, what do we do? Simple, confront him, ask him why he has done it, then kick him from the team, with dishonor... and now, whenever he comes back online in other Discords, we make sure to remind to the admins what kind of cheats he has used in the past, and that he should not be trusted... so, well, while we are at it let's do a little bit of name and shaming: the Greek player is
xarti27 and their Discord username is @
xarti27 (you can find him in Discords: Super@, Weekend Warriors, Danger Close Gaming, and more).
So, yeah... now I hope you have read all of my text, and I hope it was not a massive waste of my time (because it doesn't take me exactly 5 minutes to write all of this, more like over 2 hours where I was supposed to be doing other things.... ). So, learn from your mistakes, and don't repeat them again; that's what means to improve, to become a better person. We want you to be a better person, to respect the rules, and to improve at the Battlefield 2 game. As for the cheaters, rest assured that we do our best to keep the servers clean.
Today for example, on Wake Island, more hackusations for player "
Pointless" flying alone in the Black Hawk and killing infantry... you must've seen him do that before, didn't you? Well, unfortunately it happens that this is a good heli player, that has mastered the ability to fly the Black Hawk by himself (seat-switching) and at the same time using the machine gun constantly, on & off, to kill clueless enemy infantry players: it's a carnage. But is he cheating? Unfortunately... not... I wish they were, so I could have a real reason to ban them!

But nope, with skill and a lot of practice, you can become a flying fortress that with one player alone manning it racks up 50 kills against poor infantry soldiers, and there is nothing to stop you from doing it other than the enemy air vehicles... which (when this happens) are usually on the ground or are piloted by inexperienced players (or on the same team of the flying Black Hawk fortress there are better air players, that make sure the enemy air assets stay grounded or have a short life in the air). eeeeh, what can you do; unfortunately not much. but you can take my word for it, after all that I have explained today and the examples I have given, that the player is confirmed to be clean.
I wish they would stop doing it, they know I don't really like this behaviour in the server (as it's a constant stream of problems, stress, and hackusations) but at the end of the day, they are just better at the game than others, and they are using their honed skills to kill their opponents very effectively (too much effectively, that's what causes the controversy/accusations). Well, I have written so darn much now... I do not know if you will read all of this... I do not know if you will comprehend (as in, translate and understand) all of this correctly. But I can hope that you do, you know me... I write a lot... here in the forums, in the game servers when I have to talk to a rule-breaker or something like that.. I always try to talk, first. Well, so now my conscience is clear too, like Dangermouse10's is... is your conscience clean, ROMYX?  hmmm, maybe you could clean it by apologizing... or otherwise send us video-proof of Dangermouse speed hacking: we will kick him from the team immediately. |
